DESCRIPTION

The ETA2863 is a high-efficiency, DC-to-DC stepdown constant current LED driver, capable of delivering up to 2A of output current. The device operates from an input voltage range of 4.5V to 18V and use 0.1V FB voltage to achieve high efficiency. Running at a fixed frequency of 1MHz allows the use of small inductance value and low DCR inductors, thereby achieving higher efficiency. Other external components, such as ceramic input and output caps, can also be small due to higher switching frequency. The incorporated 20-1000KHz true PWM-Dimming feature by DIM pin can be used to digitally program the LED current. Internal softstart control circuitry reduces inrush current. Short circuit protection improves design reliability.

ETA2863S2G is available in SOT23-6 package.
