试验原理：用一根直径8mm 长度100mm且温度为950-960℃的炽热棒（碳化硅）作为点火源，使其与试样的端面接触3min，而后把持热棒转离试样，在炽热棒与试样接触时开始，观察并纪录试样的燃烧行为，并按其燃烧的状况，对试样的燃烧性能进行判定。可供塑料工业、检验部门和科研单位使用。

Four, hot rod test experiment and calculation method

实验简介：

Experimental introduction:

加热炽热棒使温度恒定在955摄氏度下，转动绝级支架使炽热棒于式样接触，用秒表开始计时3分钟时，将炽热棒转离，并立即熄灭火焰。同时用秒测量第一次火焰出现至火焰熄灭的燃烧时间，精确到1秒。

实验简介：

Calculation method:

本实验主要参数是试样样规定的时间下燃烧的长度和燃烧质量损失率。
