S*系列同轴连接器是一种微型连接器，它得名于（SubMiniature B/微型B类）。同SMA（SubMiniature A/微型A类）一样，它产生于十九世纪六十年代。S*连接器的界面*适合于电缆RG316/U和RG178/U.

S*系列采用*的*外套式设计，它的连接方式采用推入式（snap-on）,接插及分离快速*。由于S*系列连接器采用的连接方式以及它的小体积的特点，它适合高密度安装。
