AMP Magnet Wire Terminals and Splices are specially designed to terminate copper and/or aluminum magnet wire. Terminals are insulation displacing; therefore, magnet wires do not require a separate pre-stripping operation. Matched AMP automated application tooling allows high production rates for strip-form product. AMPLIVAR Splices and Terminals will terminate magnet wire to itself or in combination with standard solid or stranded lead wire. The unique wire barrel design, with serrations and burrs, produces a *ior metal-to-metal compression crimp with excellent tensile strength. They are available in a variety of splices and ring tongue, and FASTON quick-connect-style terminals.
