认证型是在危险区域使用的须认证的元件，直接运用在便携式或固定式气体检测设备中，在危险区域使用。这些气体检测设备须具备生产厂家的防爆认证文件。

非认证型可用于非防爆型的气体检测设备，或用于防爆设备的具有必要防爆保护措施并经过防爆认证的外壳中。
