From the first BURNDY patent for an Electrical T Connector back in 1927, BURNDY electrical industry in innovation, improvement and commitment.

BURNDY® takes its commitment to the design and manufacture of quality utility connectors very seriously. Our engineering team has centuries of combined experience in serving the electrical industry. Another vital aspect to development of connectors to take us into the 21st century and beyond is our in-house engineering test laboratory located in the BURNDY® Headquarters building in Manchester, New Hampshire. The test lab certifi es and tests tools and connector products to the following standards:

With a team of skilled technicians our test lab is capable of performing many t*es of testing including:

• Environmental - Freeze Thaw, Salt Spray, Industrial Contiminants, and more
• Mechanical - Sustained Load, Pullout, Secureness, Fatigue, Clamp Slip
• Metallurgical - Grain Structure, Heat Treatment, Failure Analysis
We also contract with world reknown test laboratories throughout the Americas to qualify new designs that support new industry solutions and installation practices.
