RoHS是《电气、电子设备中限制使用某些有害物质指令》（the Restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment）的英文缩写，欧盟的RoHS限制令规定：自七月一日起，欧盟市场上的新电子产品及电机设备皆禁止使用铅、水银、镉、六价铬(hexavalent chromium)、多溴联苯(polybrominated biphenyls, PBB)或多溴联苯醚(polybrominated diphenyl ether, PBDE)。RoHS适用于八大类的电子产品及电机设备。

亿光致力于符合环保减废的生产过程及产品，依照禁止在新设备中使用铅、水银、镉等有害物质的《欧盟危害物质禁用指令》(European Union Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances, RoHS)。
