Description
    The HX1011 family of devices is high efficiency synchronous step-down dc-dc converters optimized for battery powered portableapplications. The devices are ideal for portable applications powered by a single Li-Ion battery cell or by 3-cell NIMH/NICD batteries. With an output voltage range from 5.0 V down to 0.7 V, the devices support low voltage DSPS and processors in PDAS, pocket PCs, as well as notebooks computers. The HX1011 operates at a fixed switching frequency of 1.2 MHz The HX1011 supports up to 1.2A load current.

     The A*4012 is a current-mode step-down?  DC-DC converter that generates up to 1.5A?  output current at 400kHz switching frequency.? The device utilizes Active-Semi’s proprietary? ISOBCD20 process for operation with input? voltage up to 20V.? Consuming only 10μA in shutdown mode, the?  A*4012 is highly efficient with peak efficiency
at 94% when in operation. Protection features? include cycle-by-cycle current limit, thermal? shutdown, and frequency foldback at short? circuit.
    The A*4012 is available in SOP-8 package .and requires very few external devices foroperation.
