The HX6001 is a complete constant-current/constant-voltage linear charger for single celllithium-ion batteries. Its package and lowexternal component count make the HX6001ideally suited for portable applications.Furthermore, the HX6001 is specificallydesigned to work within USB powerspecifications.No external sense resistor is needed, and noblocking diode is required due to the internalMOSFET architecture. The charge voltage isfixed at 4.2V, and the charge current can beprogrammed externally with a single resistor.The HX6001 automatically terminates thecharge cycle when the charge current drops to1/10th the programmed value after the final floatvoltage is reached.The HX6001 converters are available in theindustry standard SOT-23-5L power packages(or upon request).
